Kalbarri Anglican hasn’t stopped, we’re just going online!

Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

Dear Kalbarri Anglican Church Family,

When Jesus was isolated, battling against Satan in the wilderness, he went without the essentials (like bread and even toilet paper). Jesus gets what we are going through. Yet Jesus was clear that there is one thing we can’t live without. To truly live we need God’s Word. It’s more essential than anything else.

During this season of Coronavirus it’s crucial that God’s Word continues to nourish your soul. But don’t worry, you don’t have to panic buy anything, we’ve got you covered. Each week we are going to broadcast a Sunday Service for you online. You will hear God’s Word read and preached. We’ll also have prayers, songs, maybe even some children’s activities.

Kalbarri Anglican will be extensively using Zoom web conferencing, e-mails and our church website to announce new happenings and developments as they occur. To prepare for Zoom meetings you’ll need to go to http://zoom.us and download Zoom to your computer, tablet, phone (iPhone or Android) or even your television. Then visit our ‘Church at Home’ web page ( http://www.kalbarrianglican.com/churchathome ) to find the link for the appropriate meeting. If you’re technologically challenged please give us a call and we’ll try and find a way we can help you. We’re hoping to provide some opportunities to practice using Zoom before this Sunday.

During this time we will also provide you with other opportunities to learn and fellowship using online technologies. We’ve purchased a license for Zoom web conferencing so we might as well use it! Any material that we produce will be linked on the church website at www.kalbarrianglican.com We’re also hoping to send out some devotional material soon as well. Our plea is that you don’t waste this time of isolation, but that you use it to get to know our glorious and gracious God even more.

Finally please know that we are praying for you during this difficult time, and that we are here to help in any way we can. If there is some way you’d like help please let us know.

Yours in Christ, David and Jenny Day
