Dear church members,
It is my sad duty to inform you that our fellow brother in Christ, Paul, has passed away early this morning (5am, 28FEB18) in hospital after a long battle with cancer. His family were by his side to say their good byes and to support each other. We are thankful for the days that the Lord had given Paul to be amongst us, as an encouragement and testament to God’s healing powers. His strength even till the end is an example to all of us, as we try to make the days we have left to serve our Lord count. Pray that the seeds his life and words have sown will flourish, challenging others to know Christ, that they may sprout and turn into eternal joy.
We give thanks that we can know that he is now with his Lord and no longer in pain.
“His servants will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.” (Revelation 22:4,5)
A memorial service will be held in Kalbarri – further details will follow later on.
